Alpha 7.0 - Been A While... But We've Been Hard At Work!

Visuals: 

SKY SHADER: Added a sky shader from GodotShaders.com to spiff up the day night system. Haven't played around with the settings much. The moon will be a little tricky because it seems like the shader sets moon phased based on position of the sun (1st directional light) Hoping we don't have to add more animation to sun position after it goes below the horizon... Hint: We probably had no business putting a Season Change system in the game, or even a day/night system for that matter. This stuff took way too long and quite possibly did not add all that much value. The resources used to create these could have been used to improve gameplay.

MULTI-MESH: Learned how to use/added multi-meshes. These are a pretty intuitive. Capable of adding a ton of bushes, trees and other foliage . In our case we aren't going for realism but just to make environment less sterile and more abandoned feeling. Will take some more TLC. Must decide whether or not to randomize these at run time for extra fun... 

MORE... : Conducting a sprint this week which will focus only on the behavior of Seamus (the ghost guy) and gameplay as a whole. With any luck, an Alpha 8.0 to follow soon.

Goal is to have a finished product by the end of summer.

NOTE: Ran into the "No single file can be over a certain size issue with itch.io" if we can create and load multiple .pck files to split it up, and IF it even loads in the browser at that point, we'll put up a browser based version again. For now, the Windows and Linux versions might have to do. Hint: Just like in moving apartments, the more assets and items that you throw into a project, the more to deal with when you have to export it all.
